CONTACT ROAD IMPACT TEST DEVICE FOR TIRES, CAPABLE OF EVALUATING ROAD SURFACE IMPACT OF THE TIRES IN AN INDOOR SPACE

PURPOSE: A contact road impact test device for tires is provided to obtain data useful to a tire performance supplementation research to obtain enough durability with respect to damage caused by the impact of the road surface generated when the tires mounted in a 3-wheel test vehicle with an impact absorbing device are in contact with road surface.;CONSTITUTION: A contact road impact test device for tires(1) comprises a 3-wheel test vehicle(2), a wire driving unit(4), an impact zone(5), and a stopper(6). The tires are mounted in the 3-wheel test vehicle. The wire driving unit controls the linear velocity of the 3-wheel test vehicle by using a driving wire(3). Various crushing materials adding impact to the tires mounted in the 3-wheel test vehicle are arranged in the impact zone. The stopper safely stops the 3-wheel test body.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
