PURPOSE: A cap for reducing the fluid velocity of a sea chest is provided to control the fluid velocity of the sea chest by being detachably installed in the sea chest.;CONSTITUTION: A cap for reducing the fluid velocity of a sea chest comprises a velocity reduction unit(100). The velocity reduction unit is coupled to an entrance of the sea chest and comprises a net body(110), and a support(120). The net body reduces the velocity of water. One side of the support is coupled to the net body to mechanically couple the net body and the sea chest.
