PURPOSE: A substrate manufacturing method for an optical device and a substrate for the optical device manufactured by the method are provided to reduce the manufacturing time by not requiring a precise cutting process.;CONSTITUTION: A plurality of concave type block(100) in which a groove is formed is prepared. A substrate which has a perpendicular insulating layer(110) welds a side of a plurality of concave type block to maintain the electrical insulation. The side of the concave type block is welded to each concave groove of the concave type block by adding press while an iron type zig(200) is inserted. A white paint is coated on the surface of a substrate. A cavity which contains the perpendicular insulating layer is formed on an upper side of the substrate, into the predetermined depth.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
