PURPOSE: A drowsy driving prevention device and a method are provided to prevent judgment errors on a drowsy driving state by an individual pulse deviation by extracting a valid pulse data of a driver and by judging the drowsy driving state.;CONSTITUTION: A drowsy driving prevention device comprises a first sensing or transmitting unit(10), a second sensing or transmitting unit(20), and a drowsy driving state judging or warning unit(30). The first sensing or transmitting unit is mounted in order to be closely attached to radial artery of a driver. The first sensing or transmitting unit senses and transmits a first signal including a pulse signal and a first noise signal of the driver. The second sensing or transmitting unit is mounted on a point separated from the radial artery of the driver. The second sensing or transmitting unit senses and transmits a second signal comprised of a second noise signal. The drowsy driving state judging or warning unit is operated by using the second signal.
