PURPOSE: A variable grille device for a vehicle is provided to prevent environmental contamination and to improve fuel efficiency by minimizing incomplete combustion due to the duration of warm-up time inside an engine.;CONSTITUTION: A variable grille device(200) for a vehicle comprises a grille unit, an opening and closing operation unit(202), an outdoor air temperature sensor unit(230), a cooling water temperature sensor unit(220), an indoor air temperature sensor unit(250), and a control unit(201). The grille unit comprises a grille case(211) and a plurality of blades(213). The grille case forms a grille inlet(210a) in the front surface of a vehicle. The blades are rotatably mounted in the grille case to open and close the grille inlet. The opening and closing operation unit provides operation power for rotating the blades. The outdoor air temperature sensor unit detects the outdoor air temperature of the vehicle to be outputted to the control unit. The cooling water temperature sensor unit detects the temperature of the cooling water to be outputted to the control unit. The indoor air temperature sensor unit detects the indoor air temperature of the vehicle to be outputted to the control unit.
