PURPOSE: An identifier management device and an identifier management method thereof are provided to improve the searching speed and the searching performance of an identifier.;CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(114) stores the location information of an identifier or the identifier of a communication terminal. A volume filter management unit(120) updates or registers a volume filter list indicating the storage space of the identifier by referring to the identifier. A control unit(111) controls the storage unit and the volume filter management unit. The control unit receives a volume filter list of an external identifier management device.
