PERPENDICULARITY CONTROLLER OF SUBMERGED NOZZLE IN A CONTINUOUS CASTING PROCESS, CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING THE PERPENDICULARITY OF SUBMERGED NOZZLE WITH AN EXTRA CONTROLLING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A perpendicularity controller of submerged nozzle in a continuous casting process is provided to control the perpendicularity precisely when connecting with a tundish, thereby improving slab quality.;CONSTITUTION: A perpendicularity controller of submerged nozzle in a continuous casting process comprises: a fixing member (12), a contact assistant (16), and a spirit level (20). A fixing ring is hung on the fixing member. The contact assistant is installed on a side of the fixing member, and adhered to a submerged nozzle. The spirit level is installed on a side of the fixing member, and controls the perpendicularity and the side shooting angle of the submerged nozzle. A pair of the fixing members is extended in parallel, and arranged in both sides of the submerged nozzle. The contact assistant is shaped in a half circle to be adhered on one side of the submerged nozzle.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
