PURPOSE: A monofilament is provided to be used as a non-absorbing suture with excellent uniformity, and to be used for non-absorbing medical materials including a soft tissue patch, a surgery mesh, a thin film type dressing, and a surgery pet. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a monofilament of polymer comprises the steps of: spinning a melt material of polymer through a spinneret(1); and extending the result after cooling in a cooling tub. The method is characterized by having an adiabatic spinning domain between the spinneret and the cooling tub. A spinning apparatus of monofilament of polymer comprises: a spinneret spinning a melt material of polymer, and a cooling tub which cools down the melt material. The adiabatic domain is formed between the spinneret and the cooling tub.
