PURPOSE: A hold for a liquefied natural gas carrier is provided to minimize the generation of evaporative gas inside of the hold and structurally stabilize an inner deck.;CONSTITUTION: A hold for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier comprises a first barrier (11), a first insulation layer (12), a second barrier (13), a second insulation layer (14), an inner wall (15), an outer wall (16), an inner deck (21), an outer deck (22), and a top insulation layer (24). The first barrier forms a storage space (10) for LNG. The first insulation layer is formed on the outer side of the first barrier. The second barrier is formed on the outer side of the first insulation layer. The second insulation layer is formed on the outer side of the second barrier. The inner wall is formed on the outer side of the second insulation layer. The outer wall is separated outward from the inner wall. The inner deck forms an upper area of the inner wall. The outer deck is separated from the top of the inner deck. The top insulation layer is formed on the inner surface of the outer deck to reduce external heat flowing into the storage space.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
