PURPOSE: An external cavity tunable laser module is provided to be able to minutely tune the wavelength of each channel by tuning the wavelength of channels with a specific wavelength gap, and to supply a wide tunable wavelength domain with low power.;CONSTITUTION: An external cavity tunable laser module comprises a mirror surface (110), a transmission type liquid crystal filter (120), and a light source chip (140). The mirror surface is formed on a substrate and reflects the laser coming from outside. The transmission type liquid crystal filter is formed on the rear end of the mirror surface, and selects and tunes the laser wavelength reflected by the mirror surface. The light source chip is formed on the rear end of the transmission type liquid crystal filter, reflects the laser passing through the transmission type liquid crystal filter at a specific wavelength gap to form plural channels, and tunes the wavelength of each channel.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
