PURPOSE: A dynamic management method of an optical network unit (ONU) and a wavelength division multiplexing-passive optical network (WDM-PON) system for the same are provided to dynamically manage an ONU.;CONSTITUTION: In an inter process communication (IPC) between an optical line termination (OLT) (100) and an ONU (200), a signal is transmitted using a unicast MAC address. An IPC route to the ONU is determined by ONU alarm information including state information about a link failure and IPC failure to the IPC route.
