PURPOSE: A method for isolating and purifying epothilone A and B from an epothilone-containing material is provided to economically obtain high purity and high yield epothilone A and B using a cheap solvent and a filler.;CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating epothilone comprises the steps of: adding a first organic solvent to an epothilone-containing material and preparing an extract; adding a second organic solvent to separate a non-polar organic solvent layer; treating the non-polar organic solvent layer with an adsorbent and filtering to obtain a filtered material; adding the filtered material to C5-C10 alkane and obtaining a precipitate; dissolving the precipitate in a third organic solvent and performing normal phase chromatography to separate an eluted material; and a step of performing high speed liquid chromatography.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
