PURPOSE: A broadcasting service system providing information about broadcasting content linked with a position of a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to supply additional information about broadcasting content by liking a current position of the portable terminal with the broadcasting content played on a current screen.;CONSTITUTION: A head end unit (110) streams broadcasting content in a portable terminal.
