PURPOSE: A core-shell structured starch copolymer is provided to provide paper with excellent water resistance and oil resistance, and to prevent blocking between winding roll paper sheets or a coating apparatus and the paper when coating the paper.;CONSTITUTION: A starch copolymer particle comprises a core which is formed of a starch-decomposed material and a starch-based copolymer formed by the polymerization of core monomers including a hard monomer and a soft monomer and the glass transition temperature of which is (-20)-10 °C; and a shell formed of a copolymer which is formed on the core by the polymerization of shell monomers including the hard monomer and the soft monomer. The hard monomer has an ethylenically unsaturated bond and the glass transition temperature of the homopolymer of which is 30-250 °C. The soft monomer has an ethylenically unsaturated bond and the glass transition temperature of the homopolymer of which is 10- (-80) °C.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
