PURPOSE: A portable information terminal supporter and a controller for a portable information terminal are provided to support a portable information terminal in each front end part of a pair of arms in which the interval of the front end part is controllable.;CONSTITUTION: A pair of arms (11,12) inserts a portable information terminal into a front end part. An installing unit (19) is freely installed in a controller which operates the portable information terminal. The interval of a front end part of a pair of the arms is controlled. A pair of the arms is opened and closed around a supporting shaft.
