PURPOSE: An image display device and an operation method thereof are provided to simply recognize information of a desired application by displaying preview information of the application.;CONSTITUTION: An image display device receives application information from an SDP (Service Delivery Platform) server and displays application icons extracted from the received application information through a display unit (S110,S120).
