MULTIPLE DISCHARGE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM CAPABLE OF BEING STORED THE INSIDE OF A VEHICLE AND PREVENTING IN-VEHICLE EXPLOSION

PURPOSE: A multiple spray fire extinguishing system is provided to enable cylinders to discharge fire extinguishing agents through at least one release mechanism, control the release mechanism with a controller for the whole system and generate most discharge from a first cylinder within 5 seconds or less.;CONSTITUTION: A multiple discharge fire extinguishing system comprises at least 2 cylinders (124,126) and a nozzle (24). At least 2 cylinders are installed within a cockpit. The cylinders discharge fire extinguishing agents through at least one release mechanism. The release mechanism is controlled with a controller for the whole system. The controller operates the two cylinders. The nozzle is located in the downstream of the release mechanism in order to discharge the fire extinguishing agents into the cockpit. Most discharging from a first cylinder among at least two cylinders is generated within 5 seconds or less.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
