PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting mold for casting a polysilicon ingot for a solar cell, which suppresses mass transfer from a casting mold body to molten polysilicon and the production cost of which can be reduced, and to provide a method for producing a casting mold for casting a polysilicon ingot, and a method for casting a polysilicon ingot.;SOLUTION: A casting mold for casting a polysilicon ingot comprises silica as a principal body material. The casting mold for casting a polysilicon ingot is provided with a coating layer having a porosity of 20-30% and a thickness of ≥0.5 mm by applying a silicon nitride-containing slurry onto a casting mold body surface which comes in contact with molten polysilicon and sintering the silicon nitride-containing slurry.
