PURPOSE: A real-time digital map editing method and system, a server, and a recording medium are provided to enable a user to edit and update digital map information by editing changed items of the digital map information through the display screen of a mobile client based on augmented reality. CONSTITUTION: A digital map information module (110) manages digital map information by being coupled with a digital map information database. A digital map information providing module (120) receives a request of digital map information about certain location information of a mobile client. The digital map information providing module transmits the digital map information to the mobile client. A digital map information update module (130) updates the corresponding digital map information based on editing information transmitted from the mobile client. A digital map information reception module transmits location information to an augmented reality server and receives digital map information corresponding to the location information.
