PURPOSE: A real-time positioning method and system based on auto setup of RF and analog devices are provided to allow efficiently the initial setup operation to be in progress within the shortest period of time, thereby performing communication between readers and a tag which are arranged at the longest interval.;CONSTITUTION: A wireless positioning system comprises an ultra wide band (UWB) tag (101), a plurality of readers (102-105), and a positioning server (106). The UWB tag broadcasts packets according to a predetermined cycle within a constant radius. According to the auto setup instruction of the positioning server, the plurality of readers sets the control value of radio frequency (RF) and analog devices, which are used for wireless communication with the UWB tag, to a specific value and receives the packets from the UWB tag.
