PURPOSE: A ball valve for high temperature and high pressure is provided to respectively install Teflon gaskets at the upper and the lower side of an assembling hole to which a stem opening or closing a flow path with rotating a ball is assembled, thereby control a fluid at the high temperature and the high pressure without leakage.;CONSTITUTION: A ball valve (10) for high temperature and high pressure includes a valve casing (20), a ball (40), a stem, a Teflon gasket, and a sheet. The valve casing has an inlet connected to a valve chamber (26) at a center thereof, has an outlet at the other side thereof, and has an assembling hole at an upper center thereof. A cap (60) is assembled to the upper side of the assembling hole penetrating to the valve chamber. The ball having a hole at a center thereof is installed in the valve chamber. When the hole of the ball is collinear to the inlet and the outlet, a flow path is opened. When the hole of the ball is perpendicular to the inlet and the outlet, the flow path is closed. The stem penetrates the cap and the assembling hole, and is tightly fit. The lower end of the stem is fixed to the ball, and the upper end of the stem is connected to a handle or an operating part for automatic opening/closing. An O-ring for sealing is formed at a concave groove at the center of the stem. The gasket is installed between the cap and the upper side of the casing.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
