PURPOSE: An air purification filter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to effectively remove or sterilize microbes such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi with ginseng extract included and to provide antibacterial and deodorant function in addition to air purification.;CONSTITUTION: An air purification filter comprises ginseng extract, a binder and a medium. The air purification filter additionally includes an antibacterial material which provides disinfection and antibacterial function. The antibacterial material is selected from among phthalaldehyde, potassium disulphite, bronopol, sodium desoxycholate, glutaraldehyde, sodium desoxycholate, quaternary ammonium, and combinations thereof.
