ECO-COMPOSITE TYPE STEEL TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An environmentally friendly riverside structure and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent environmental contamination without using cement and to construct the nature friendly structure using red clay. CONSTITUTION: An environmentally friendly riverside structure comprises struts (100), sheet piles (200), and cutoff collars. The struts are embedded into a bedrock layer (R). The sheet piles are embedded to the top of the bedrock layer or into a weathered rock layer and are arranged in front of the struts. The cutoff collars are installed between the struts on the bottom of the sheet piles and are composed of cementless red clay composites. The cementless red clay composites are composed of red clay powder, quicklime, and granite soil.
