PURPOSE: A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) apparatus for detecting mycobacterium tuberculosis and a detection method of mycobacterium tuberculosis using the same are provided to prevent spread of mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and to contribute a rapid responsive treatment by precisely and rapidly confirming the mycobacterium tuberculosis infection at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for detecting mycobacterium tuberculosis is one selected from the group consisting of a primer set for detecting IS6110 gene, which is introduced within a mycobacterium tuberculosis genome, including at least 15 consecutive nucleotides from a base sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 and a primer including at least 15 consecutive nucleotides from a base sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2; and a primer set for detecting IS6110 gene, which is introduced within a mycobacterium tuberculosis genome, including at least 15 consecutive nucleotides from a base sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3 and a primer including at least 15 consecutive nucleotides from a base sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4. A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) chip includes the primer set in at least one reaction channel. A PCR apparatus comprises a first column block arranged on a substrate; a second column block spaced apart from the first column block on the substrate; and a chip holder capable of moving in directions of left and right and/or up and down by a driving unit on the first and second column blocks, wherein the PCR chip is mounted on the chip holder.
