PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a waterproofing organic thin layer is provided to display images without the variation of display performance for a long period of time.;CONSTITUTION: An organic thin layer of a long laminating body (6) contacts waterproofing process liquid. The surface of the organic thin layer of the long laminating body is cleaned. The long laminating body is conveyed from a waterproofing process to a cleaning process between the waterproofing process and the cleaning process.
