PURPOSE: A stimulus estimation system by scanning brain response patterns and an estimation method thereof produce correct data by generating brain response scan data using near-infrared ray. CONSTITUTION: A stimulus-brain response storage module (210) stores brain response measurement data. The stimulus-brain response storage module stores a standard stimulus identifier as stimulus-brain response data. A brain response scan module (110) transmits measurement light to the head of an examinee. The brain response scan module outputs brain response scan data. A stimulus estimation module (230) outputs a standard stimulus as an estimation stimulus.
