PURPOSE: A device for processing synthetic aperture radar images by changing a route and a method thereof are provided to process a calculation process in real time by defining an energy function using an m-th route change and to remove noises from images inputted by using the energy function using the defined m-th route change. CONSTITUTION: A device for processing synthetic aperture radar images comprises an image obtaining unit (110) obtaining input images relative to a target area; and an image processing unit (120) generating output images which the noise is removed by removing the noise using an energy function by using an m-th route change predefined from the obtained input image.
