APPARATUS FOR EQUALIZING POWER IN WDM-PON SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A power equalizing apparatus in a wavelength division multiplexed-passive optical network (WDM-PON) system is provided to minimize an effect of a cross-talk at a reception end by equalizing the power of optical signals which are transmitted from the optical reception units of all the channels. CONSTITUTION: A second wavelength division demultiplexer (14) receives a determined ratio of a received optical signal. The second wavelength division demultiplexer demultiplexes the received signal into multiple channels. Each of the multiple optical detecting units (15) converts the demultiplexed optical signal into an electronic signal with the multiple channels. A first control unit (16) includes information which is related to the power of each channel which is included in the optical signal which is demultiplexed with the multiple channels in a downstream signal.
