PURPOSE: A method of controlling an image diagnosis apparatus and a mobile terminal for the same, and a method of operating the image diagnosis apparatus and an image diagnosis apparatus for the same are provided to render an image diagnosis apparatus capable of separating an input unit and an output unit by using Wi-Fi direct (WFD) or ultra wideband (UWB) communication technology and being remotely controlled through a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit receives identification information of an image diagnosis apparatus from the image diagnosis apparatus via a Wi-Fi direct (WFD) network or an ultra wideband (UWB) network and transmits an input control command to the image diagnosis apparatus via the WFD or UWB network. A display unit displays a virtual key pad corresponding to the received identification information of the image diagnosis apparatus. A user input unit receives a control command from the outside through the virtual key pad. A control unit controls the communication unit, the display unit, and the user input unit.
