PURPOSE: A terminal position identifying device using gesture information and a method thereof are provided to identify the arrangement order of each terminal even though a plurality of terminals are arranged closely.;CONSTITUTION: If a user inputs a gesture sequentially recognized by from a first terminal (111) to a third terminal (113), a terminal position identifying device (100) receives sequentially gesture information from the first terminal to the third terminal. The position identifying device identifies a position of terminals in order of receiving the gesture information. If the user inputs a gesture from the left to the right in input interfaces of from the first terminal to the third terminal, the first terminal recognizes the gesture earlier than the second terminal and transmits gesture information corresponding to the gesture recognized by the position identifying device.
