PURPOSE: An adaptive bit allocation method and a device thereof for a multi-cell joint processing system sharing data and channel state information in a limited feedback environment are provided to further improve the performance of the system when a user is adjacent to a cell edge. ;CONSTITUTION: A control unit determines an actual channel vector and a quantized channel vector (215). The control unit determines a vector which maximizes quantization accuracy (220). The control unit determines a phase difference between base stations. The control unit determines a bit combination which maximizes quantization accuracy using the vector which maximizes quantization accuracy and the phase difference (230,235).
