PURPOSE: A non-uniform motion blur removal method for a large input image based on a tile unit and an apparatus thereof are provided to overcome the limit of a storage space required to process a large image by removing blurs after dividing the large input image into local areas comprising tile units. CONSTITUTION: A non-uniform motion blur removal apparatus divides an input image into a plurality of tile units (201). The non-uniform motion blur removal apparatus selects one of a plurality of the tile units (203). The non-uniform motion blur removal apparatus estimates non-uniform motion blur information about the selected tile unit by performing image matching (205). The non-uniform motion blur removal apparatus obtains a latent image of each tile units by removing non-uniform motion blurs based on the estimated non-uniform motion blur information (209). The non-uniform motion blur removal apparatus restores the input image by using the latent image (211).
