PURPOSE: A device and method for implementing time synchronization through automatically controlling the number of sent massages from a master are provided to automatically control the number of the synchronized massages according to the conditions of traffic and slave nodes, thereby optimally maintaining a performance for synchronizing the nodes.;CONSTITUTION: A device (100) for implementing time synchronization includes a synchronization implementing part (120), a synchronization condition determining part (130), and a synchronization massage number adjusting part (140). The synchronization implementing part implement synchronization between a master and at least one slave based on the number of synchronization massages from the master. The synchronization condition determining part determines a synchronization condition with measuring an implemented time synchronization performance. The synchronization condition determining part determines synchronization stability when the performance is within an allowable referential value, and determines synchronization deterioration when the performance is above the allowable referential value.
