PURPOSE: Bluetooth low energy (BLE) privacy is provided to improve privacy related to a BLE circuit connected to a BLE central device or scanner device when the BLE circuit is operated as a scanner for receiving advertiser packets in a Bluetooth environment. CONSTITUTION: A BLE module (201) generates a first Identity Resolving Key (IRK) (507) related to a first BLE peripheral device (101). The BLE module transmits the first IRK to the first BLE peripheral device. The BLE module generates a first Resolving Private Address (RPA) corresponding to the first IRK. The BLE module generates a packet including the first RPA. The BLE module transmits the packet to the first BLE peripheral device.
