APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING THE DOT INVERSION OF AN LCD FOR CONVERTING SELECTION SIGNALS, WHICH HAS BEEN SWITCHED TO A HIGH VOLTAGE, INTO A MIDDLE VOLTAGE AND A CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling the dot inversion of a liquid crystal display (LCD) and a control method thereof are provided to convert each voltage applied to a transistor through switching depending on the level of a middle-voltage switch, thereby reducing the size of a chip, suppressing the power consumption, and obtaining electromagnetic interference (EMI) prevention effects.;CONSTITUTION: A ground (GND) switching device (302) provides switching for GND pre-charging when the polarity of a data voltage changes. A positive switch device (304) consists of a pair of four-terminal transistors (P1,N1) in which a pair of different conductive transistors is connected in parallel. A negative switch device (306) consists of a pair of four-terminal transistors (P2,N2) in which a pair of different conductive transistors is connected in parallel.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
