PURPOSE: A method for producing conical or hypoid wheels through a plunging process uses a cup-shaped tool when removing a chip from the mechanical treatment of a structure and shortens a work period.;CONSTITUTION: A method for producing conical or hypoid wheels through a plunging process comprises the following steps: rotating a tool (40) which has a first main cutting edge (42) and a second main cutting edge (43) about the rotary axis (WR) of the tool while processing a following indexing step; performing a first relative plunging movement along a first plunging vector (Vk1) to define the single target point (E1) of a first plunging movement arranged in the position of a structure which has 10% or greater depth of a manufactured teeth gap (31); relatively performing the crossing movement of the second main cutting edge along a crossing vector (Vk2); and performing a second relative plunging movement along a vector route (Vk3) which defines the target point (E3) of a second plunging movement.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
