PURPOSE: A system for avoiding the collision of pedestrians is provided to enable users to promptly respond to incidents by determining the collision possibilities of pedestrians using a vehicle speed sensor, a camera, radar, and an RF transmitter-receiver integrated in the system.;CONSTITUTION: A system for avoiding the collision of pedestrians comprises a sensor unit (100), a calculating unit (200), a determining unit (300), and a brake pressure output unit (400). The calculating unit recognizes the approach of pedestrians on the basis of information collected by the sensor unit and calculates information about collisions and braking distances. The determining unit determines the collision possibilities of pedestrians on the basis of the information.
