PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring reflection type shading information using a light emitting diode (LED) and a photo-transistor and a method therefor are provided to simplify the measurement method and to implement the real time measurement.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring reflection type shading information using a light emitting diode (LED) and a photo-transistor includes an emitting device (1), a light receiving device (2), an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter, and a conversion and analysis unit. The emitting device emits single light with high brightness in order to measure the degree of optical reflection. The light receiving device receives the light which emits from the emitting device and is reflected from the object. The A/D converter converts the light receiving signal transferred from the light receiving device from analog to digital. The conversion and analysis unit analyzes the conversion signal by outputting and converting the conversion signal into a specific value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
