The present invention relates to a composite column connecting reinforced concrete (RC) column and a steel frame beam, and provides an economic column making better use of a space, wherein the column has a circular shape, is integrated with a steel frame for effectively utilizing the excellent compressive force of high strength concrete, and installable with a long span for reducing the number of installation locations of the column. A manufacturing process of the steel frame is composed of: preparing a steel bar connection pipe on a joint part with a beam; making a steel frame by inserting a steel bar into the steel bar connection pipe and welding the steel bar on the inner circumferential surface of the steel bar connection pipe in all directions; welding semi-diaphragm connected to a flange of the beam on the outer circumferential surface of the steel bar connection pipe; welding a gusset connected to a web for delivering load applied to the steel frame beam through the steel bar connection pipe to the steel frame; preparing a thin steel sheet concrete mold on a joint part on which a normal concrete mold is hard to be installed; welding a mold assembly pipe on the upper and lower parts of a pair of semi-diaphragm and accurately assembling the concrete mold for securing watertightness; filling concrete in three layers and one joint part for reducing construction periods; and separately placing concrete by dividing the concrete into uses for a column and for a floor slab.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
