The present invention provides a polymorphic marker for predicting the risk of ulcerative colitis and Crohns disease in Koreans. The polymorphic marker for predicting the risk of ulcerative colitis and Crohns disease in Koreans is used for predicting the risk of ulcerative colitis or Crohns disease as a genetically risk factor for ulcerative colitis or Crohns disease which is a lower group of inflammatory bowel diseases in Koreans and as a genetic marker for diagnosing ulcerative colitis or Crohns disease.
