PURPOSE: A method and system for remote controlling bidirectional content of digital TV is provided to control bidirectional TV content through various control methods using a smart phone. CONSTITUTION: A system(300) receives a smart phone number registration request from a smart phone(200) in order to one-to-one map with a settop box(100). The system stores the phone number of the smart phone in a database. The system receives an one-to-one mapping request with the smart phone from the settop box. The system transfers the control signal about the received bidirectional content to the settop box by the execution of the bidirectional content.
