PURPOSE: An apparatus for machining a wood post of a streetlamp is provided to smoothly forming the surface of the wood post into a circular shape by first and second rotary blades.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for machining a wood post(400) of a streetlamp comprises a rotary unit(600), a machining unit(700), a movable unit(800), and a vertical cutting unit(900). The rotary unit is installed between one and the other sides(510,520) of a bed(500), and rotates a square wood post. The machining unit comprises a manual dimension regulator(770), first and second rotary blades. A gap between a machining table(710) and the wood post is adjusted by the manual dimension regulator. The ranges of the first and second rotary blades protruding toward the machining table are controlled by an air cylinder(780) so that the wood post is formed into a circular shape or obliquely machined. The movable unit is formed between a first fixing unit(810) and a second fixing unit(820). The vertical cutting unit is placed on both ends of the bed, and machines the upper and lower ends of the wood post.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
