PURPOSE: A circulating fluidized bed boiler and a desulfurization method for the same are provided to ensure a stable operation by controlling the injection quantity of at least one of limestone and lime or quick lime. CONSTITUTION: A circulating fluidized bed boiler(100) comprises a combustion furnace(110), a starting burner(140) which is formed on one side of the combustion furnace and heats a bed material during the operation of the combustion furnace, an injection nozzle(160) which injects at least one of limestone and quick lime into the combustion surface in operation, and a control device(250) which sets the injection quantity of the limestone or/and quick lime injected from the injection nozzle according to the amount of sulfur dioxide gas produced from the combustion furnace and stops the injection nozzle according to the differential pressure of the combustion furnace.
