PURPOSE: A blooming apparatus of lotus having a statue of Buddha inside is provided to visualize the teaching of Buddhism and to provide a mysterious feeling over the statue of Buddha by letting the statue of Buddha show up in the situation when the lotus comes into blossom. CONSTITUTION: A blooming apparatus of lotus having a statue of Buddha inside comprises a statue of Buddha(10), a supporting part(20) holding up the statue of Buddha, a supporter(30) supporting the supporting part, multiple lotus petal members(42,44) which are combined to the supporter or the supporting part by hinge joints(42a,44a) and surrounds the statue of Buddha in a lotus shape, driving devices(52,54) which operate multiple lotus petal members to pivot around the hinge joint, and a cover(60) which is installed under the lotus petal members in order to block the supporter and the driving devices from outside.
