PURPOSE: A composition for preventing and treating inflammatory bowel diseases is provided to obtain a novel candidate material for treating inflammatory bowel diseases. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating inflammatory bowel diseases contains polypeptide of sequence number 3 as an active ingredient. The polypeptide is encoded by a polynucleotide of sequence number 4. The composition contains a promoter and a vector containing a polynucleotide of sequence number 4, which is operatively linked to the same. The pharmaceutical composition is manufactured in the form for administration or parenteral administration.
