Discovery and Selection System and Method of ＲＡＴ on Heterogeneous Wireless Environment

PURPOSE: A system and a method for searching and selecting radio access technology are provided to effectively perform a radio access technology discovery and selection based on the mobile pattern and the location of a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A mobility calculation unit(61) calculates the mobile speed of a mobile communication terminal. The mobility calculation unit averages the mobile speed. A search and selection control unit(63) determines the connection change of a wireless communication system to which the mobile communication terminal is connected using the mobility of the mobile communication terminal. The search and selection control unit selects a new wireless communication system from connectable heterogeneous communication systems.
