PURPOSE: A clutch device of an apparatus for exercise ability measuring or training is provided to selectively measure the rotation motion ability and linear motion ability. CONSTITUTION: A clutch device of an apparatus for exercise ability measuring or training comprises a first plate(10), a second plate(20), a movable plate(30), a plate driving unit, a first pulley(50), a second pulley(60), and a pin(70). The first plate and the second plate are fixed to the driving shaft of the motor supplying the load for exercise ability measuring. The movable plate is coupled with the driving shaft to be moved straightly between the first plate and the second plate. The first pulley is coupled with a driving pulley for relative rotation with the driving shaft and located in the exterior of the first plate. The second pulley is coupled with a driving pulley for relative rotation with the driving shaft and located in the exterior of the second plate.
