Hydrogels for wound dressing comprising nano-silver particle and preparation method thereof

PURPOSE: A hydrogel containing biocompatible polymers and silver nanoparticles is provided to ensure easy detachment, transparency, easy handling, and storage. CONSTITUTION: A hydrogel with improved disinfection contains 1-50 wt% of biocompatible polymers and 0.001-5 wt% of silver nanoparticles. The biocompatible polymers are sodium carboxyl methyl cellulose. A method for manufacturing the hydrogel comprises: a step of adding the biocompatible polymers to purified water to prepare an aqueous solution; a step of pouring the aqueous solution into a tray and molding; a step of irradiating radiation to the hydrogel for crosslinking; a step of supporting hydrogel in a silver nitrate solution and irradiating radiation to form silver nanoparticles; and a step of packing the hydrogel.
