Routing apparatus and method for minimizing the energy consumption in ad-hoc network

PURPOSE: A device and a method for searching a route for minimizing for energy consumption of an ad-hoc network is provided to efficiently reduce power consumption under limited power supplying environment. CONSTITUTION: A current node receives a route request message from a neighboring node(210). A reception distance is calculated by using the position information of the neighboring node and the position information of the current node(220). The accumulated amount of energy consumption is calculated from a source node to the current node based on the calculated reception distance(230). The current node broadcasts the route request message containing the position information of the current node and the calculated accumulated amount of energy consumption(240).
