PURPOSE: A field bus synchronization method using a gateway and a system thereof are provided to solve a network delay problem by synchronizing a synchronous network with a non-synchronous network. CONSTITUTION: A synchronization support first field bus network system(110) includes a mater(111) and a plurality of first slaves(112). The master executes a synchronization process. A synchronization nonsupport second field bus network system(120) includes a plurality of second slaves(122). A gateway(130) connects the first field network system and the second field bus network system. The gateway measures the message response time of the second slave.
